Massimo Florio is Professor of Public Economics at the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods at Università degli Studi di Milano. Awarded by the European Commission a Jean Monnet Chair “Ad Personam” of EU Industrial Policy, he has been the scientific coordinator of a Jean Monnet network of six universities. His main research interests are in applied welfare economics, cost-benefit analysis, industrial and regional policies, infrastructure and growth, privatization, public enterprise and socio-economic impact of research infrastructures.

Milan Summer School on Cost-Benefit Analysis, VIII edition

I was involved as Scientific Director and lecturer at the VIII edition of the Milan summer school “Cost Benefit Analysis of Investment Projects: Principles and Sector applications”.
CSIL organised its annual Summer School on Cost Analysis of Investment projects. Participants from 18 different countries attended this year’s edition, along with lecturers from EU and international organisations who joined CSIL’s staff and experts to bring their experience on measuring the impact of investment projects through the application of CBA.
