Key note speaker at the FCC Week 2016, Rome

Prof. Florio will be key note speaker at the second Annual Meeting of the Future Circular Collider study, which will take place from 11-15 April 2016 in the Crowne Plaza St. Peter’s Hotel, Rome, Italy.

In his talk, Prof. Florio will present a cost-benefit analysis model for the LHC that he and his team in the Department of Economics of the University of Milano have developed. Moreover, Prof. Florio will discuss the possible development of this model to take into account the impact of a potential Future Circular Collider (download FCC-week_public information).

Prof. Florio is also invited as speaker to the public event organised at the Auditorium in Rome (Italian with simultaneous translation to English) with CERN director general Fabiola Gianotti, INFN president Fernando Ferroni, physicists Michelangelo Mangano and Guido Tonelli, former CERN director of research Sergio Bertolucci and INFN vice president Antonio Zoccoli.
